About Natalie
While studying mechanical engineering at Colorado School of Mines, I spent much of my time outside of class teaching fitness classes and tutoring students. I have a passion for cultivating a positive relationship between individuals and their pursuit of higher education and health. I have successfully tutored 4 students through consecutive years of high school math subjects and have had the joy of watching their grades turn from near-failing to A’s. Better yet, they’re confidence in tackling any problem that came their way was the largest measurement of growth during my time as their tutor.

Learning a new subject requires building a trustworthy connection with someone who understands how to deliver content that’s personalized to individual learning types. My approach focuses on using concepts and foundations already familiar to the student and building bridges to extend their knowledge towards the subject they’re studying. Practice makes perfect, so I prefer to touch on fundamentals and solidify understanding using example problems. I also address common mental barriers such as test anxiety and maintaining confidence while working through tough problems.

Natalie is an incredibly hard worker and a great tutor. She is patient with her students and is one of the kindest people I know. She genuinely cares about every student and wants to make sure they all understand the material in a way that makes sense to them. She is great at slowing down, and explaining topics in more than one way if students struggle the first time. I could not recommend Natalie more!
