About Marissa
I am a Carnegie Mellon University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics. With several years of experience tutoring students from elementary school through college, I specialize in making complex concepts accessible—whether in fundamental math, SAT preparation, or advanced analytics. My teaching background includes serving as a teaching assistant for two college courses, working with students one-on-one and in the classroom, as well as supporting learners at Mathnasium and within my own family. Throughout high school, I worked as a math tutor at a prestigious tutoring company, providing in-person support to help lower-level math students build strong foundational skills. In addition, I tutored high-level high school and college students one-on-one, focusing on advanced topics and personalized strategies to help them excel.
