About Alya
As a fellow student, I understand the challenges many face on their way to success — from intimidating teachers and lack of motivation to feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to start. I aim to create a stress-free, supportive environment where students feel heard and understood. I’m not just a tutor, but a companion who’s walked the same path and wants to help others succeed. I’ve taught a wide range of ages — from explaining the anatomy of the heart to primary school students, to solving complex maths puzzles that even teachers found challenging. I also helped a Year 11 student improve her combined science grades from failing to a 5-5, giving her hope and raising expectations. In addition, I earned a Gold Award in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, reflecting my strong maths skills and dedication.
