About Katherine
I have been tutoring for about a year with a volunteer organization through my university, and have absolutely loved seeing the progress my students have achieved. I enjoy helping others learn and overcoming the challenge of making learning exciting and engaging. I have my undergraduate degree in English literature, and will soon obtain my Master of Education specializing in Autism studies in August. I specialize in working with neurodiverse learners, and provide a neurodiverse approach.

I like to approach class as a conversation. Finding opportunities to talk about class concepts and tie them to other areas of the students' pre-existing knowledge and interests. I like to integrate quizzes and learning games into my lessons. What sets me apart is that I like to get to know all of my students and really cater the lessons to what their interests are, and what I understand about their learning styles. I have worked with students in all age ranges and can adapt to personal preferences and skill levels.
