My teaching methodology for Saxophone focuses on balanced learning through creativity, guidance, and responsibility. I believe music should be taught in a clear and supportive way. I start by helping students develop essential skills such as breath support, tone quality, finger control, and music reading.
Creativity is encouraged by introducing improvisation, sound exploration, and learning songs that interest the student. I act as a mentor by providing encouragement and constructive feedback, helping students stay motivated and confident. Critical thinking is developed by teaching students to understand rhythm, scales, and musical expression, allowing them to play with clarity and control.
Accountability is maintained through structured practice plans, regular assessments, and progress discussions. Students learn discipline and commitment towards their musical goals. Along with Saxophone, I also teach supporting subjects such as Music Theory, Sight Reading, Rhythm Practice, and Basic Improvisation to help students become complete and confident musicians.
