About Leila
I am a friendly and approachable person who can quickly build a strong working relationship with tutees, allowing them to get the most out of every session with me. Having achieved top grades in my GCSE's and A-levels, I understand what is required to be successful in exams.
In terms of my teaching style, I ensure every session is tailored specifically to the tutees needs. I am highly adaptable as to what teaching style the student finds most useful. I always provide my own typed notes to the student to take home at every session. I ensure to provide plentiful questions to allow pupils to practice the theory we have covered, as I have found this is what tends to help them the most.
One of my most recent successes was a pupil who came to me in January who was currently achieving a D grade in her IGCSE Biology. In 6 months we managed to raise her grade to an A, allowing her to get the grades she needed to on to the sixth form college of her choice.
