About FABIEN

I was born in Amberieu en Bugey, France, at the end of the 1970s. I studied hospitality and catering at the Lycée Hôtelier de Bellegarde sur Valserine.
When I was 21, I moved to the UK.
I first settled in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands where I found my first job in a restaurant as a butler.
After a few years of working in a restaurant, I had the opportunity to work in a college-high school as a French teacher. It was then that I fell in love with teaching.

I can tell you now that there is no age limit for learning a new language as long as you are motivated and focused.
With more than 25 years of experience in the world of Shakespeare language learning, I am ready to help you discover or rediscover it!

About the class

Hello! My name is Fabien, I am Franco-British and tutor of French and English.
I lived 23 years in the UK.
I worked in a high school as a French teacher, to students aged 11 to 18. During this period, I regularly visited local primary schools to give children aged 5-10 a taste of the French language, using material that was both fun and educational.

Back in France, I am ready to help you improve your French.
All ages and all levels - Upgrading and tutoring:

- Structured and personalized lessons with fun activities mixing comprehension / reading / grammar / tenses all in a good mood.

- Online lessons via Zoom

- The first lesson is free and lasts 45 minutes. It is used to get to know each other, assess your level and then adapt the course according to your objectives and preferences.

Hello from Belgrade, Serbia. I’ve only been taking French lessons with Fabien recently. I have to say that I had little knowledge of the French language before but thanks to Fabien, my understanding has improved greatly in such a short period of time.
The grammatical points are explained in English which both of us understand. Even though, French isn’t a easy language to learn, I can assure you that Fabien will make it fun and easy to learn. I would recommend to anyone who wishes to learn or improve a foreign language.
