About Teodora

Hi, I'm Teodora! For the past five years, I've worked as a professional interpreter across the UK - in hospitals, schools, police stations, social services, and government offices. I've helped hundreds of people navigate their most challenging conversations in English, and I know exactly what language skills you need for real British life.

I'm originally from Bulgaria, so I understand the journey of learning English as an adult. I'm now a qualified Level 5 TEFL/TESOL teacher, and I'm passionate about helping people feel confident and comfortable using English in everyday situations.

I don't just teach English from textbooks - I teach the practical, real-world English you actually need to navigate life in the UK. I know the exact phrases for booking a GP appointment, speaking to your child's teacher, or understanding your housing contract.

I also have a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from a UK university, and I'm DBS checked.

About the class

Why learn with me?

Learning English can feel overwhelming, especially when you need it for real-life situations - not just exams. That's where I can help.
My lessons are practical, friendly, and focused on what matters to YOU. Whether you need English for:

- Medical appointments and healthcare
- Your child's school and education
- Work and job interviews
- Housing, benefits, or official situations
- Everyday conversations and confidence

...I'll teach you the specific vocabulary, phrases, and communication skills you need.

What makes my lessons different:
✓ Real-life scenarios and role-plays (not just grammar drills)
✓ Patient, supportive teaching style
✓ Lessons tailored to your goals and needs
✓ Focus on speaking and building confidence
✓ I understand your challenges - I learnt English as an adult too

So, book your free trial lesson and let's discuss your goals. I'll show you exactly how I can help you feel more confident using English in the situations that matter to you.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and supporting you on your English learning journey!
