I take a very proactive approach to tutoring. I usually hold open discussions/ debates in an informal setting where students can ask whatever questions they may need to enhance their understanding. I expect a certain level of student self responsibility, I will set tasks and expect them completed because the only way to truly enhance your English skills is constant practice.

Kirsty and I were both in the same year of high school, up until my final year I wasn't a good student and didn't try in school. My writing was bad and I didn't understand any of the techniques used in English analysis. Her style of teaching allows you to not just learn a concept but put that concept into practice and get detailed and concise feedback. For example, if I were to give her an essay draft. She would highlight areas where I could have used stronger techniques and wording. Explaining the why's and hows of English writing. If you are a student who is dedicated to achieving the best you can in English, I cannot recommend Kirsty enough as an English tutor.
