About Carolan
Hi! My name is Carolan, and I’m a forensic science student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. I’ve always been passionate about math and science, and I love helping students discover how exciting and rewarding these subjects can be. In high school, I excelled in STEM subjects and have continued to deepen my knowledge in college. My studies in forensic science allow me to bring real-world applications to my teaching, showing how math and science are used in criminal investigations and everyday life. I’ve worked with middle and high school students to improve their understanding, confidence, and performance in subjects like algebra, geometry, biology, and chemistry. My approachable teaching style and ability to connect with students make learning engaging and effective. Outside of academics, I’m also pursuing a career in the Air Force, which has taught me discipline, focus, and the importance of perseverance—qualities I bring to my tutoring sessions. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals and making math and science your new favorite subjects!
