I graduated last July with a first class integrated masters degree in Forensic and Analytical Investigation from Keele University. Before this, I studied Chemistry, Biology and Physics to A-level, Spanish to AS level and also did a free standing maths qualification.

Normally, I would like to start with a light discussion to determine exactly what level somebody is at, from there I can tailor the teaching a bit more towards what works best for the individual, whether they like to make mind maps for visual effect or to talk a topic through.
I also consider going through past papers and finding trends in the questions set by the exam boards very useful, as a lot of questions are recycled year after year. Becoming familiar with the mark schemes and finding key phases used in the answers I think is key, as this ensures fewer marks are lost in an exam.
