Fluent Russian speaker + teacher of 12 years. I'm your guide to the rich world of Russian language and culture!

I have been learning with Alla for 10 months and my language skills have improved tremendously!

Her method of teaching is like no other I’ve experienced. Particularly, her emphasis on learning based on native media and real-world usage of the language, rather than leaning heavily on textbooks, gave me a deeper understanding of how native speakers use the language on a daily basis. Plus, it gave me the confidence to talk with native speakers immediately!

And yes, she also possesses the qualities that make a great teacher: patient, compassionate, a deep understanding of her subject, and the ability to explain it clearly. Can’t recommend her enough!

I have seen Alla for many months now and she has really helped me progress wirh my German.

The lessons are concise and they follow a structured plan, with meaning and purpose behind them; tailored to my specific level and needs.

I recommend her to anyone wanting to learn a language, you won't regret it!

Alla was supoer helpful with my son Sam. He came in with a C predicted for his German GCSE and within 6 months of lessons was on track for an A. Seems like schools just aren't teaching them correctly!

Alla taught me Russian around 2 years ago and safe to say she is a very patient tutor. Russian was made so understandable for me and we studied a versatile range of sources. Would definitely recommend!

What’s great about Alla’s lessons is the unconventional approach to language learning. I’ve had issues with traditional teaching styles in schools and Alla’s techniques really helped me to take a new perspective when acquiring a new language!

My son has had so many problems with his French GCSE in school and I thought it would be a hopeless case. But after some lessons with Alla I was so surprised that he was speaking confidently and it seemed like the language finally made sense to him! Definitely recommend Alla’s unique methods!

Where do start!? Alla is so helpful when it comes to details that are usually disregarded by standard tutoring programmes, such as accent and intonation. I’ve never known of the contextual acquisition technique and it’s really helped my daughter with her GCSE German predicted grade. She’s not a natural linguist but with Alla’s help we boosted it from a C to an A! Highly recommended!
