About Jia
Hi! My name is Jia, and I grew up in Latin America ever since I was 3 speaking Spanish. I also learned Mandarin through formal language schooling. I’m fluent in both languages and have firsthand experience preparing for standardized language exams such as the TOCFL and HSK.
I have two years of peer mentoring experience, where I worked one-on-one with students both virtually and in person. In this role, I helped students navigate academic resources, plan coursework, and build confidence in their learning through personalized guidance.
