Miguel is a master guitarist and a world class human being. I have taken lessons from him for many years, and he continues to push my technical and artistic boundaries every time we meet. His depth of musical knowledge is profound; after every lesson I am inspired challenged to grow as a musician and artist.

Denver is incredibly lucky to have the likes of Miguel Espinoza here. He is a truly great guitarist and composer, and also a teacher of the highest caliber. His students absolutely love him and he is accustomed to having great success in that they advance very quickly under his guidance. He’s one of the most creative musicians that most people have ever met, and he is also creative in his approach to teaching guitar. His students not only learn lots of great technical skills, but also rhythmic and musical skills as well. He teaches all ages, all levels, and most every style. But his area of expertise is Flamenco, so if you can learn some of that with him, you are learning from the very best!

I've been taking lessons for 1 year now from Miguel. My playing is in another league now because of what he showed me. He'll show me any techniques I ask for and make sure I practice them properly. Flamenco is highly nuanced and very few teachers will be able to properly demonstrate, count and intuitively build upon the material they give you. Miguel can definitely do that and he's a super cool guy.
