To me tutoring is extremely inspiring and amazing. Not only do I get to pass down my knowledge and help others who are in situations like I was, but I get to discover new perspectives and ambitions from each student. Throughout my life my parents, tutors and mentors pushed me to get the best marks I could. Despite my marks consistenly being above average, I did not retain the crammed knowledge after exam. It wasn't until I experimented with multiple study techniques that I discovering how to understand knowledge instead of simply repeating the textbooks. I can help my students from broth primary and high school not only revise or learn concepts but find what study technique works best for them to continue to grow and learn. With seven years of experience working with students of all ages and disabilities I will continue to grow alongside my students and adapt my teaching styles to fit their needs.
