About Maggie
I am a recent First-Class Graduate in English Literature and History from the University of Manchester and have a great love of both subjects which I enjoy sharing with others. As a recent student, and an individual who will return to study at a Master's level, I am able to closely relate to my students, and can understand the stresses and frustration which come with academia.
I have consistently achieved high grades throughout my academic career and am able to assist others in doing this. My love and deep understanding of both subjects allowed me to succeed both in shorter exam questions as well as my longer dissertation, in which I also achieved a First. I am aim to assist students in tackling their barriers to success and to inspire confidence in their abilities.

I personalise my lessons to my students; their needs, wants, and what best suits their journey towards their goal. I focus on each individual needs to cover and implement a lesson plan based around that, whether it be a thematic approach to book, or specific cover of exam style questions. My usual lesson length is an hour, however can accommodate different lengths required.
I have been a tutor for six years, working with students at GCSE, A-Level and degree level, and have enjoyed watching them accomplish their goals.
