About Gisella
I've been teaching maths and science on and off for fifteen years, since I was still in my mid teens. Since then, I've gained a first class degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge and spent eight years working for the British Government in various roles focused on International Security that have taken me all over the Middle East and East Africa. I've now decided to change careers to write YA action novels, and am also looking forward to returning to maths and science tutoring.
I am DBS checked and can provide details of referees on request. Lessons can take place online, anywhere in West/Central London, or at my Middle-Eastern-antiques-filled flat in West Kensington (lessons at my flat require permission from a parent or guardian if you are under 18).

Maths and science don't need to be overcomplicated. In our lessons, I want create genuine understanding in a way that works for you, rather than asking you to memorise unnecessary information.
If you want a sample of my approach, check me out on insta and tiktok @30_second_maths. In private lessons, we're going to keep the same gentle philosophy, but more tailored to you, and with an emphasis on consolidating what you've learned using proven memory techniques.
I specialise in teaching GCSE and A-level maths and science. I also offer coaching for Oxbridge applicants, Civil Service Fast Stream applicants, and new graduates aiming to improve their interview/interpersonal skills.
