About Brad
I have tutored math for over ten years, and my students have had success at every level. I've taught algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and statistics to high school and college students. Sessions are either taught online, in-person in a library, or at the student's home with parents present. I take pride in being on-time, prepared, and reliable. My approach begins with getting to know you, your goals, your current situation. We then identify how we can build on that to develop a broader base for understanding future concepts and approaching difficult problems.
My lessons are based on your coursework materials, and I walk through with an interactive audio and visual approach (with on-screen markups) to clarify concepts and help you work problems yourself. Lessons end with specific suggestions for development before our next session.
I combine my advanced training in math (via a Math minor in college, extensive professional training in math, and more), with an ability to translate complicated ideas into simple language. I also have a passion for teaching, a love of math, and a reassuring and fun personality to keep things light.
I teach math at all levels, from Algebra 1 through college calculus and statistics. I am available online and in-person.
