About Belen
I have experience tutoring various ages in all levels of math. I’ve taken course from algebra to calculus to differential equations to theory of numbers. I believe most people are not bad at math the way they think they are, they just haven’t had it taught to them the right way. Teaching isn’t one size fits all which is why I cater my lessons and explanations to how you learn.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and am currently in the Financial Mathematics Masters of Science program at Johns Hopkins University. In high school I tutored kids aged 10-18 in subjects such as algebra 1 and 2, precalculus, trigonometry, and arithmetic. In undergrad I tutored students of algebra, precalculus, and calculus 1. Every student learns differently and my goal is to help you find success in all levels of math in a way that works for you with longevity. I want you to not only succeed in your current class but also have the foundation to be successful in your next levels of math as well.
