About Isabella
Heya! I am a final year medical student at the University of Nottingham and I love to teach, mostly because it is the best way for other students to learn, but also because it helps me to consolidate my knowledge-base. In my future career, I would love to get involved in academic teaching on top of my clinical work. During my time at medical school, I have been on committees dedicated to teaching fellow students and have delivered teaching sessions to first and second year students. My ultimate goal from tutoring is to empower students to take their education into their own hands, and I am happy to provide general support and advice on career prospects and university applications.

My sessions are flexible with timing and sessions will be tailored to the tutee's wishes. I am happy to teach from textbooks, to create powerpoints to aid teaching, as well as providing practice questions and homework to enhance learning. My preferred method of teaching is to help students understand what we are learning which will ultimately make it easier to remember than purely through memorisation. I do this through creating my own diagrams and resources that break down complex topics into more manageable chunks.
