About Lottie

I want to teach because, as somebody who was predicted a level 4 in her GCSE and went on to achieve a level 9, I am not only somebody who has learnt and mastered the exam game, but somebody who understands how to make it easy for other people in the same position:)

About the class

I am comfortable with teaching both GCSE and A-Level Biology (all curricula), having helped students both achieve and go beyond their target grades in exams. My lessons are typically an hour in length, though I am happy to suit the student’s wants/needs, as well as tailor to different learning styles!

I’ve always had trouble understanding new concepts but she has a very good way of breaking down information so it’s easy to learn

I have known Lottie since my first year of University and can account that she is an excellent teacher when it comes to tutoring Biology. Both her passion and expertise, and her easy-going and kind manner of teaching are ideal for learning both simple and complex topics in Biology. She is someone you can rely on and that will both encourage and support you fully during tutoring. For those reasons, I recommend her as a tutor for anyone who is wants to learn more about, or reinforce, their knowhow in Biology!

Lottie is an extremely hardworking and clever individual, and makes learning easy to follow. Her knowledge in Biology is extensive and her teaching methods are very clear. She helped explain a lot of processes I previously struggled to understand, and helped me grow confident for my exams, which ultimately led to me getting into my top choice university. Lottie made learning a fruitful endeavour for me, and I would recommend her tutoring to anyone who feels they need further help in Biology than their education provides.
