Sometimes there's a mother who wants their first grader to learn some phrases or a middle school or high school student who needs to fortify grammar—written or spoken. I once tutored a senior couple for six weeks before a tour of France, so we concentrated on "party French," from restaurant dinners to traveling on trains.
