About Kristine
Mobile Yoga Workout encompasses my passion for teaching yoga as well as inline skating. Sometime both at the same time!
Originally developed in conjunction with the skate company Rollerblade, The Mobile Yoga Workout was designed to combine the relaxation benefits of yoga with the cardiovascular benefits of inline skating. The program itself gained international attention appearing in a variety of magazines world wide such as Shape, Fitness, Cosmopolitan, etc.
Since that time, the Mobile Yoga Workout has grown into a life philosphy built upon awakening the principals of yoga on the mat, the pavement, etc.
With 20 years of yoga teaching experience, I am a Level 2 teacher in the Satyananda tradition and board memeber of the Yoga Academy of North America. In 2010 I co-developed Shapeshifter Yoga, an online yoga program.
I have been teaching skating in various disciplines for over 30 years and currently own and manage the Inline Certification Program which provides instructor certification world-wide. In addition, I am the developer of Skate First Hockey which provides both training to players and coaches. In addition, since 2008, I have taught yoga and meditation courses to students, faculty and staff at Cleveland State University.

It keeps me present. Whether teaching a group of college students yoga or a group of teenagers hockey skating skills, there is no room for not being 100% there.
There is a sense of joy and connectedness that I feel to my work and my students in that I know that I am moving them closer to the best version of themselves while at the same time moving closer to mine!
In 1988, while going to school for my BS in Elementary Education, I begin to work as a learn to skate and private lesson ice skating instructor. In 1997 I was introduced to Satyananda yoga at a local yoga studio and proceeded to take my first teacher training course in 2000.

My ongoing experience as a yoga practitioner and skater combined with my years of study and teaching of both to a variety of students gives me a deep practical and experiential understanding of both yoga and skating. It is a unique combination that through practice and teaching of both has strengthened my ability to provide quality experiences for my students.
