I love seeing individuals change from being sealed by a chrysalis into the best and brightest person they can be. It is not just about weight loss or muscle gain, it is about setting out on a journey and getting to the point where they know they made it and I am there to help guide them along their way.
I used to get into a lot of trouble in middle school so my mother put into the martial arts. I fell in love instantly and grew my craft to become the head coach for the national fight team. After that I used my skills to become an Athletic Trainer.
I am a nationally certified Athletic Trainer through AFAA and ACE and have my undergrad from the University of New Mexico and my graduate work was done at Harvard University.

My first session/class is always free so that the client and I can get to know each other before entering into any arrangement. I normally lay out a map of how we are going to achieve the agreed upon goals and a timeline in which to do it. I have no obligations or contracts other than one month at a time and if things are not working out we may part ways. Boasting slightly - that has maybe happened 3 times in the last 20 years so I am very proud of my success rate.
I currently oversee the Industrial Athlete program for Presbyterian, Albuquerque Ambulance, Albuquerque Public Schools, Blue Cross Blue Shield, SolAero and many other organizations. My team and I also are the Athletic Trainers for the Pro-Football team Gladiators. I have two Parkinsons clients at this time and over 10 male and female clients on wide ends of the fitness spectrum ranging in age from 20 to 78 years of age.
Make sure you have an immediate repor with the person - not just enamored by quick talk. This person is to become your coach and needs to be able to tell you the truth. You must trust this person completely.
My team and I were told by the Head Coach of the Gladiators that in his 20 year history within the NFL that we were the first Athletic Training team that he trusted. Also my Parkinsons patients beginning to walk again unassisted with wheel chairs and canes.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If the coach does not ask your goals immediately and talks about money first - walk away. You need to have set realistic goals, the trainer then should tell you exactly how you are going to achieve them if possible and within a reasonable timeframe.

Perfect! I haven't starting working with them (yet) but fully plan to. Curt was informative and helpful, even though I'm going a different direction right at the moment. Several friends of mine have worked with EVOLV and have only good things to say.

CJ us an excellent trainer with great motivation skills. He pushes you to your maximum with great results. In terms of my health profile, I have an excellent cholesterol profile. Most people are shocked at my level of strength and endurance, especially for a 50 year old woman. Love working with CJ Chavez!

Details
My rate per hour is $75 for single packages. If a committment of 2 times per week for a month is given the price is $50 per session. I also provide 3 group challenges a year ranging in price and number of sessions offered starting at 24 sessions over 6 weeks at $150 and going to 48 sessions over 12 weeks at $225.
