About Amish
I’m a graduate of the University of California, Riverside—a research-based institution—where I majored in biological sciences and conducted hands-on research in entomology, studying insect behavior. As a researcher, I’ve developed a strong foundation in scientific thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving—skills I use to help students think critically and master challenging subjects. I recently completed the MCAT and created effective strategies for learning and retaining complex material, which I now apply in tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s learning style. My subject expertise includes Biology, Mathematics, Biochemistry, and Psychology. During my undergraduate years, I worked for two years as a medical assistant at a top physician’s clinic, gaining valuable clinical experience and communication skills. I’m also a licensed pilot—an experience that’s sharpened my ability to stay focused, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. I’ve been tutoring since high school and have also served as a mentor at my university, helping students find balance, stay motivated, and succeed both academically and personally. I’m passionate about teaching and firmly believe that with the right guidance, every student has the ability to excel. Beyond test prep, my background includes years of tutoring experience and mentorship roles where I’ve helped students navigate both academic and personal challenges. I value punctuality, preparedness, and clear communication, and I always strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel heard, respected, and empowered. Working with me means having someone who’s not only knowledgeable, but genuinely invested in your growth. My goal is to help you gain confidence in the material and in yourself—because with the right guidance, you’re capable of achieving more than you think.

I recently took the MCAT, which not only reinforced my academic foundation but also taught me how to approach complex material with personalized strategies. With tutoring experience dating back to high school, I’ve continued to grow as an educator throughout college—excelling academically, conducting extensive research, and building strong professional networks. I also served as a mentor at my university, where I helped students stay on track academically, manage stress, and achieve their goals. I’m passionate about education and believe that with the right support and guidance, any hardworking student can succeed. As a tutor, I strive to provide that support in a way that is encouraging, effective, and tailored to each student’s needs.

I had the best experience working with Amish for my biochem course! He really knows his stuff and explains complex topics in a way that actually makes sense. Super patient, easy to talk to, and always made sure I truly understood the material. Honestly, I started off super overwhelmed with the class, but with his help, things finally clicked. Highly recommend if you're looking for someone who’s both smart and supportive.
Amish has helped me ease out my studies and helped me achieve an excellent understanding and confidence in my biochemistry course. I received A+ grade in my class. His methods and structures of teaching are exactly what I needed. Amish is an highly experienced tutor and I recommend hiring him if you want to excel.
Amish was an outstanding tutor for my biochemistry classes. He explained complex topics like enzyme kinetics, metabolic pathways, and molecular signaling in a way that was easy to understand and remember. His teaching style is clear and engaging. He made sure I fully understood a concept before moving on. What stood out most was his patience and ability to adapt the lessons to my pace and needs. Thanks to my tutor Amish Patel, I felt much more confident in class and performed significantly better in exams. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and supportive biochem tutor!
Amazing at his work. Fully dedicated and very helpful
