About Michael
My name is Michael Miller and I'm currently a senior at the University of New Mexico. I'm finishing up my degree's in Chemistry and Psychology this semseter with plans to attend medical school in Fall 2020.
I tutored at UNM for two years in science and math before I ended up persuing helping high school students and college students privetely.
I was never your ideal student growing up and I felt like I never had a postive academic roll model to show me that learning is actually something I wanted. I decided to go down this path to see if I could make a difference in students that were like me. (also just help students in general.)
I have extensive tutoring experience and have national tutoring certifications. I can tutor anything in highschool and any physical science in college. I also have tutored ACT bootcamps and privately tutored it, with proven results.

First just get to know them, learning who they are makes a big different when it comes to the approach to take with their learning.
14-50 year olds! I have also worked with clients with special needs with much success.
Look for someone who you think will be on the same page as you. A tutor will have more knowledge than you and sometimes that makes it hard for them to understand how to teach you. You should have someone who you don't mind talking to for an hour outside of tutoring. If they cant hold a conversation, how are you supposed to learn from them?
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Have they actually exhausted their rescources. Once you understand as much as you actually can, then you look for help. That way you have as much knowldege as possible when having them explain something to you.
