About Douglas

My 7 years of tutoring experience have brought me into contact with students of all ages from elementary school to undergraduate. I have always had a propensity for mathematics and science and have been able to broaden my horizons to tutor in the areas of English and reading comprehension as well as an employee at London Achievement Processes in Miami. Spending time one on one with a student allows me to learn their strengths and weaknesses and devise a plan of action to help them progress towards their full potential as a student. I work to share with others my personal academic prowess and standardized test-taking ability to improve their confidence in and outside of the classroom.

Growing up as the eldest son in a family of six children, I have always had responsibilities to help those younger than me with academics and loved to do it. I carried this enjoyment with me through high school and undergraduate where I worked as both tutor and teacher's assistant and finally as an individual clinician after graduating in Spring 2019. I love to help a student in need progress towards their goal and to bestow upon them new knowledge.
