I was a student of Mr. Lord's in 1978. I was failing Math and my Mom reached out to him to tutor me so I wouldn't fail 8th grade Math. It was long ago, but I remember it like yesterday. He made it fun and simple and was super patient. So grateful! Great tutor and person!

I just wanted to say that I don't have an experience with Mathlord Tutoring but I am a mother of two kids that took Math from Mr. Lord in High School and he is an excellent teacher. Mr. Lord has that ability to relate to each and every one of his students and you are truly blessed to have him come into your life. I would rate him ten stars if I could. I would truly recommend him to tutor my child. He is truly a great teacher. He cares so much.

I was a student, which I learned boatloads of math from Mr Lord. Then while my children were growing up, he tutored both of my children who are 10 years apart. Math changes so much over time, yet Mr Lord still, to this day stays informed and provides the best services not just for me but for my children, and their friends!

Mathlord Tutoring is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. If a student is unable to understand a concept taught one way, Mathlord will explain it different ways until the student understands. Mathlord cares about students, wants to help them excel, and is an excellent teacher. I have never known anyone that can teach as he does and help a student understand.

Mr. Lord tutored both myself and my brother. While I personally do not enjoy math, it is very apparent that Mr. Lord does, and that shows when he is teaching. He is down to earth, relatable, and provides results.

Mr. Lord is very thorough in his teachings and I have dyslexia. He taught me at age 16 and was the only teacher ever that I could comprehend his teaching process without failing compared to others. I hated math prior to him but walked out a hero! My first job at 21 years old was as a financial analyst for a Fortune 500 company. All the glory goes to Mr. Lord! I’m now 32 years old and I still think of him :-)

I was chosen to take the SATs in 6th grade. Mr Lord tutored me on the 6 years of math I had yet to take in school. With his help I was able to score much better on the exam than I expected.
