About Morgann

My service stands out because I understand how it feels to not be able to catch up with other students and I have worked with students that have had the same problem and I was able to get them to understand their material and perform mastery in these things as well.

What I enjoy is seeing kids succeed. I have always and still do have plans to be successful and have a good education and I enjoy seeing kids be stress free and not struggling with their work. It brings me joy to see students able to comprehend material and master it.

I have received my Math 1 credit and have taken three years of honors classes. I am also preparing myself to access in NC Honors Math 2. I was also a part of the National Junior Honors Society in 8th Grade and was asked to attend the Young Black Leadership Alliance and the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (both which were unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic).

My typical process for working with a new student is to start off slow. I know it can be difficult for students to learn we things are just thrown into their faces, so I feel that it is important that I start off slow and then pick up speed as we go along.
