About Renee
Hello my name is Renee George and I am interested in helping people improve their math scores on the SAT and SAT2 Math subject tests. I have teaching experience not only in math, but also coaching tennis last summer. These experiences have made me a patient instructor that can break down complex mathematical concepts. I am a visual math learner as well and value learning math not only through numbers but also through diagrams and pictures. One of the closest friends often needs extra help with math. I enjoy working with her to find new ways to explain concepts in a way that she can best understand them. My favorite part of helping her is when she begins to understand something she was struggling with before. It makes me excited to see other students like my friend gain confidence in their math skills with my help. I have also tutored younger kids in middle school level math and am capable to teaching students of many different grade levels. Thank you for considering my application.
