About Devika
I've done my Masters in English from Calcutta University and I've been tutoring children for quite a long time now. I'm also an avid painter and artist, and when I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me bringing the mountains to life through my work. I love to be around children, and I believe that teaching them is not just about subject matter assistance but also, well-rounded teaching of values and instilling a deep curiosity in them, for knowledge.

When it comes to English, with little kids, I usually start with the basics, such as the fundamentals of grammar, how and why sentences are constructed, etc. As for other subjects up to the middle school level, there's no other way than to make them curious, make them ask why things happen, and ultimately explain what they find confusing.
