About Troy
We use a very scientific method for teaching students to be the best pickers that they can hope to be.
It's fun to watch students over come challenges and to grow as musicians. Even more so when they meet or exceed expectations.
I took private lessons all through middle school and highschool. I've won many awards at the district and state solo and ensemble festivals. I toured with Phantom Regiment in 2008, playing contra for them. In college I studied piano with Kathleen Ericson and bass guitar with Larry Prentiss who had played with Anita Baker. I also studied guitar with Johnny Lawrence.
