Val is a great voice teacher. I enjoyed working with her in the last few months. She is patient, kind, and supportive. She taught me breath management skills and helped me gain more confidence in singing.

I’ve had three of my children working with Val and they have loved it! Each has developed in their skill in beautiful ways whether in voice, guitar or harp. I couldn’t recommend Val more, she’s wonderful!

I started singing lessons with her over zoom - and was a bit worried about how it would go - but she was very professional, had a comprehensive onboarding process, but was still flexible and met my personal needs. I have done both voice and guitar lessons with Valerie for nearly 8 months now, and it has been very rewarding! Valerie has been fun to work with, is very knowledgeable, and encourages you even if you feel self conscious of yourself. I don't feel like I strain my voice anymore when I sing, yay! If you're on the fence about lessons, just do it, it's worth it!

Val was so helpful with giving an introductory course on the harp. She was positive and showed that she wanted me to succeed. She took time to make sure I had good technique while learning the fundamentals. She made practicing easier by providing videos to practice with and being available during office hours for questions. We also had a lot fun learning the Star Wars theme song. I’m so glad I came across this workshop so I could begin my pursuit of a dream I’ve had for years! Thanks Val!
