I enjoy working with students all ages/
learning skill levels. I have about 30 yrs of experience teaching students with severe learning disabilities. I have helped many
foreign exchange students from Japan,
China, the Middle East, Brazil, Spain, and Mexico.
My most rewarding accomplishment was
with a mentally disabled student from India. She had failed English 101 three times.
Because she was on academic probation, this was her last chance to pass English 101 without being disqualified. She had lost all hope and wanted to drop out of college.
I encouraged her and helped her work
on her self esteem and study skills. As a result,
she graduated from Santa Monica College. Some of her classes included English 101 ,American History, and music .
Her father told me that I was the only teacher or tutor with any success. I really cared about my student. I feel that her success was due in large part to my patient tutoring.

Tutoring with Angi have been so worthwhile! She has been tutoring me and my brother for years . We are graduating from high school. soon. Angi has an amazing way of breaking things down so that they are understandable, and always keeping it light and fun.
Overall, Angi is a great tutor and I would recommend her to not only students who are taking classes in school but also for people like me who are learning on their own.
We started our sessions in person. During COVID, we switched to online.
I found that online was actually better because I save time on transportation.No gas! Also, I am in the comfort of my own home.
I can fit online lessons into my schedule. I dont need to worry about packing my lunch or bringing my books and computer.
Angi is also very patient — which anyone that takes a language needs – and it’s very comfortable to practice conversations, which is also a huge plus. I recommend Angi highly. She teaches many subjects. I received 5 out of 5 on AP English , AP History, AP Biology.I received very high SAT writing, SAT reading, Math, SAT Math, and Algebra scores.
Angi even teaches guitar , voice, ART( CERAMICS),Photoshop, music.
