About Steve
I am a 20 year Army Veteran.
I am flexible with my services.
1-1 Service where the student is the main focus.
If I do not know how to do something I will research and share what I learned.
I try to find a practical application for things that I am assisting with. This helps lessons stick in the mind better.
I enjoy showing people how things work not just by the book but in real life as well.
Seeing that ah-ha moment when a concept clicks after studying.
I have always had a passion for helping others. I enjoy seeing that ahha moment when a student has a breakthrough. Also seeing a student who was having trouble with keeping grades up suceed.
I do not have a teaching degree. However, throughout a 20 year career in the Military I have taught many Soldiers on a multitude of topics (both military and college) with great sucess.
I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a B.S. in Business Administration in March of this year.

During last school year my Granddaughter in Missouri called me upset because she could not figure out fractions. After 45 minutes of work with her she had a good understanding of how fractions work and able to do the problems on her own. She called me back to show me her A on that assignment.
