I would ask my students to express how they feel today in Chinese and express how I feel to see if my students can understand and explain how I feel about the day, then continue to where we left off last class.

First, I would like the student to introduce themselves, then I would ask them on a scale of 1-10 how do they think their skill of Chinese lands at. I would ask them their preferred learning style and try to teach them in the way they like!
Ever since my sister moved to America with me, I have been teaching her Chinese daily including speaking, listening, reading, and writing to prepare her for going back to Taiwan for middle/high school!
