About Griffin
As a Tufts University undergrad and a UVM postbacc student, I spent a lot of my time figuring out how best to learn, understand, and of course remember useful information in difficult subjects from upper level Psych courses to premed curriculum, while maintainining my own sanity. As a soon-to-be medical student, not only have I found effective techniques to accomplish these things, but I also understand the challenges faced by students today, particularly for those prepping for standardized exams. As an EMG tech at Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center, I have mastered my ability to incorporate my knowledge and apply it to real-life tasks in our Neurology clinic. I am excited to share my advice and methods on how to navigate your classroom and exam preparations, take in and apply important information, and help you reach your goals in and out of the classrom.

I have always enjoyed working with others. Throughout my time as a collegiate athlete, I learned how to get the best out of each individual and the group. In the past I have worked as a mentor and tutor for younger students. I'm always excited to colloborate with students, teammates, and peers to help one another learn and improve.
I attended Tufts University where I earned a degree in Psychology. After graduating from Tufts in 2018, I completed a postbacc year at UVM, where I complete Medical school prerequisites prior to taking the MCAT exam.

In order to provide a student with the best help and a proper collaborative experience, we must be on the same page. I think it is important to learn first what the student is looking for, what their goals are, and how they hope I can help them reach those goals. If they find that we are a good fit, then we can work together to create a plan.
For students preparing for their MCAT exam, I like to first understand their timeline and hear about their study habits/schedule thus far before working with them to try to give tips on how to best utilize their time prior to test day. By understanding a student's problem areas or topics of focus, I then try to develop a solid plan to best improve their chances of succes in these areas before tackling specific content and questions.
