About Alan
When I was very young and began playing baseball I was horrible. I was the kid they put in right field because no one ever hit the ball to right field that's how bad I was. I lived in a very competive neighborhood up in the Northeast in New Jersey. I would promise myself I would learn to get batter next season so I would practice really hard in the cold Winter's all by myself, whatever it would take. Bouncing tennis balls really hard in my parents garage every day and every night during the off-season and as the years started to go bye and as I started to get older, taller, and my weight increased I became one of the very best at the game by the time I reached my early teen years. I had a rocket for an arm and could hit a baseball over 300 feet sometimes even further. If you take something you are passionate about and apply the hard work to get better it eventually will pay off I guarantee it. I had a great feel for the game not just physically but mentally. Always stay one step ahead and always know the situation you are in. Baseball is my passion because I knew how bad I was and I knew how good I became and there is not a better feeling in the world when you succeed at what you love. I would love to show the kids all the basic fundamentals of the game from running, to throwing to fielding, bunting and pitching. I have a wealth of knowledge with a little bias to my NY Yankees and have the time to teach and develope the skills needed to succeed.
