About Harrison
I have been pitching for almost 10 years now and I have played at the Varsity, NCAA Division 1, and Division II levels and I would love to share the information that I learned working to play at the next level.
I know how difficult it is nowadays to find good instruction and information that will give your athlete continous improvement as he tries to reach his goals. I know this because I was not too long ago in the same position many athletes are in today trying to figure out how to be the best ball player I could be.
I have high level knowledge in pitching mechanics and the drills needed to improve them. I specialize in improving throwing velocity, pitch movement and command of the baseball.
I started teaching after I realized I had been instructing some of my teammates for some time and I decided I wanted to grow that.
I pitched at the Varsity level in high school and unfortunately I did not have the knowledge and training to be recruited to the next level. I ended up attending a walk on tryout at Stephen F. Austin State University and transitioned from the outfield to pitching. I played two years there before transferring to UT Tyler for my masters degree.
I know how to teach pitching because I had to learn all of this on my own.

Firstly I like to meet with the athlete and figure out what their goals are for working with me so I can better plan out lessons. At the first lesson I like to take some time and learn about the athlete's throwing and where improvement is needed.
After that I am willing to meet with an athlete as much as they would like.
I have worked with kids at 12 years all the way up to guys currently in college baseball.
Be very careful who you take advice from. Everyone wants to act like they have all the answers, but truly no one does.
This past season, I almost threw a perfect game. Went 4 perfect innings and then gave up a walk in the 5th inning. Still ended up with a no-hitter on the day which was my first ever.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Best thing to do is really evaluate what your goals are short term and long term. Your instructor can only help you achieve your goals if you really know what they are and are detail oriented.

Harrison is very direct. He will tell you what you are doing wrong very clearly. But even better he will tell you how to fix it and help you through the process. Through my time with him I have gained strength, velocity, and the ability to continue to gain. Harrison helps you start your journey but also gives you the assets you need to continue on after you are done working with him. Most places don’t do that.
As Harrison’s teammate in college he has helped me to improve on many aspects of the game. My consistency on the mound whether that be mechanical, commanding the strike zone, and off speed has greatly increased since I met him. Along with his training I have felt more energetic and explosive as ever while hitting numbers off the mound and in the weight room that I have never seen. Highly recommend coming to work with this guy.
Harry makes throwing faster a much simpler process than a lot of other coaches. He helped me by showing me how to eliminate unnecessary workouts and drills and showed me the workouts that actually helped me throw harder and increase my average velocity. This guy knows more than my college coaches did. A++ stuff
