About Carolyn
Carolyn Stotesbery is a renowned acting coach and industry insider who has worked as a professional actor on hit TV shows like Castle with Nathan Fillion and with actors like Eric Dane from Euphoria.
Having coached for over 15 years, Carolyn trains actor from booking the audition all the way to the killing it on the red carpet.
Carolyn supports and guides actors away from unhealthy habits towards empowered self-sufficiency and creative mastery In a nurturing and safe environment.
In Carolyn’s group classes, each actor gets custom tailored attention just like in one on one sessions, but they also get the added benefit of learning from what other actors are learning and in this way they can often times grow faster. Sometimes it's easier for people to learn the lessons from watching others learn and grow, just in the same way, we learn for seeing others learn and grow in life.
Human beings don't exist solely in a vacuum, and a group environment hones one's professionalism for being on set with other people who are in varying levels of their career and work.
PRIVATE ACTING COACHING BACKGROUND
Having studied with a dozen of the “top” acting teachers in Los Angeles . I've seen it all, and I know what works and what doesn’t. No one wants to their waste time.
After searching for the best acting coach, I finally worked privately for 10 years with a teacher who had the answers I had been looking for and taught me how to actually develop myself and deliver the goods.
Then one day my mentor asked if I would I teach private acting coaching, so of course, I jumped at the opportunity. I taught for over a year and now have decided to continue giving actors the tools that will help free them and make their work fun, exciting, and most of all empowering instead of a painful confusing nightmare.
CAROLYN STOTESBERY-LEVENS moved to Los Angeles and after only two weeks, she was cast in MTV’s “Undressed.” As an actor, Carolyn has appeared in major studio movies and television shows, among them the role of Sarah in the Beach Boys biopic, “LOVE & MERCY” (Lionsgate), Eli Morrison in the film, “GREY LADY”(Lionsgate/Starz) and a recurring role in the action drama “AGENT X,” (TNT) starring Sharon Stone.
She has also starred in “CASTLE” (ABC), “GLORY DAZE” (TBS), “COLD CASE” (CBS), ‘CRACKING UP (FOX), as well as films like The Farrelly Brothers’ “STUCK ON YOU” (FOX), Emilio Estevez’s “BOBBY”, and many more.
Carolyn's experience on set makes her private acting coaching tailored for actors looking to fast track their career from the sidelines straight to the TV set or film location.

Online Private or Online Group Classes
-Email me a headshot and resume to (concealed information) and we can schedule an Intro Session (either Group or Private depending on how you'd like to work)
-Attend an Intro Session - $35
-We will discuss at the Intro Session On Going Classes ( I currently have 2 Online Classes: one during the week and one on the weekend )
On-going Online classes are $225 a month for 4 classes
The other way is to work with me Privately via zoom/Skype/facetime
Private Sessions are $75/hr
once again send me a headshot and resume and we can begin the process
Audition Coaching
I work privately with clients to prepare them for an audition via zoom/FaceTime (75$/hr)

Perfect! Carolyn is an amazing coach! She is very kind, skilled and supportive. I like her structure of the class, one part lecture and insights about the art of acting and one part working on a story and playing. I enjoy the plays she picked for me to work on and she also recommended some great books to study. I'm learning a lot about the art, how to go about a script/story and becoming a character, and through that process also about myself. I highly recommend her as a coach, for anyone starting out or with experience. It's a lot of fun working with her!
