About Kelly
Well first things first, I've been performing since I was 3 years old. Acting is my greatest passion and I love helping others learn about the craft and gain confidence in it!
I have had multiple acting classes in my life, and I am currently a Drama major at UW Stevens Point getting my Bachelor of Arts. As for specific trainings, I have had:
-4 years of training in monologues
-4 years in scene work
-4 years in basic improv techniques
-About 3 years in Shakespeare
-Some basic work in Meisner, and in depth work in Stanislavski
-4 years in audition prep (and 5 years in actual audition experience)
I've had a lot of experience acting in shows (plays AND musicals), and a good amount of experience in directing fellow students. Throughout my career, I have been nominated and then awarded Outstanding Actor from the Wisconsin Theatre Festival, and have been nominated twice for Jerry awards for my work in Musical Theater.
My youtube is still in the works but I can link soon :)
Acting is great fun. You get to explore emotions and step into the shoes of someone else while onstage! It's a great experience of catharsis many times. The thing I love most is finding likeminded people with the same love for acting.
I started by simply helping other students in class who needed help with their scenes or monologues. Now, I coach my friends in need and figured I should start helping even more people!

I can adjust to different student's needs! There are a few areas of interest I like to focus on overall such as:
-Monologues
-Scene work
-Auditioning
-Shakespeare
I have mostly worked with my peers, so I am here to broaden my horizons!
Look for someone who has training in an area YOU'RE interested in! If you want to focus on auditions for shows, find someone who has had training AND experience out in the real world, if you're interested in Shakespeare scenes, find someone who has studied his work and can help you understand it.
