The first day is a get to know session. I find out what future goals are concerning acting(ex. whether it be theatre or TV acting because there is a big difference) I will ask about experience that will determine where we would begin. A typical class is going over the basics of acting, do a scene and critique. A homework assignment will be given to practice the techniques taught in class. There are many aspects of acting and I feel it's important for students to know and study these aspects if they want to further their career in it
