About William

I am 68, I have taught GCSE and A level Sciences and Biology respectively. I am a keen gardener and have appeared on TV with that and on various quiz programmes. I grow wild flowers for improving the environment in my area, and have coached angling to hundreds of young people and trained coaches for angling. Education is important, but using what you know in a positive way is equally important. I have also spent some of my life helping people into work, so know how the jobs market works, which can be useful for some of my students.

About the class

What do you already know? What do you need to learn? What are your final aims? The questions I need to know so that I can tailor your tuition to your needs, that's what I am here for, using my experience as well as sources of information to expand and reinforce what you learn.

Will stepped in to tutor me during the COVID-19 pandemic, and remained my tutor up until I sat my GCSEs. Through that whole time he was nothing but helpful and supportive, acting not just as a font of knowledge to memorise but as a friend to listen to and learn from. Without him and his support I wouldn't be where I am now, and for that I owe him a lot. I can throughly reccomend him to anyone interested in seriously *learning* about science.
