About Sarah
Hello I’m Sarah (you can call me Miss Cody if you prefer) and I’m passionate about teaching and helping young people progress. I graduated from Durham university with a degree in Natural Sciences and continued my studies with a MSc in Botany. I have a PGCE (teaching degree) and have worked in UK schools teaching science with a biology specialism, up to A level for the past 7 years. Looking forward to meeting you!

7 years experience as a science teacher up to GCSE (examboard AQA) and Biology to A level (AQA). I tailor each lesson to my students needs and can teach to both higher and foundation students as well as to triple students. I’ve worked at 2 comprehensive secondary schools in the UK, one in Birmingham and the other in Chiswick and have the subject knowledge, pedagogical skills and resources to make every lesson excellent and enjoyable. I have high expectations of my students and want them to work to their potential.
