About Terence
Have run Totnes School of Rock since 2005 and have 20 years of teaching experience. Have worked in Music schools, Academy's, Primary & Secondary Schools in the South West. I Play in Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band "Funky Munks", Psychedelic Rock band "Magic Bus" with Jay Darlington (Oasis, Kula Shaker), 90's Alternative Rock Covers act "Electric Remedy", a Rage Against The Machine tribute band "Rage", The "Seattle Saints" tribute to grunge music and in "Rosetta Stone" a folk rock acoustic duo as well playing solo gigs both acoustic and electric!

I teach based on the needs of each individual student. I believe in helping them achieve their goals and to encourage them to find their own purpose in why they want to play, resulting in them finding the reason for them to practice when they get home. Music should be inspiring and fun and should be nothing short of life changing. Playing a gig to an appreciative rapturous audience is one of the most amazing thrills one can experience and also is a huge opportunity for personal development and maturing ones personality, work ethic and own sense of purpose.
I like to tailor lessons and subject matter where possible to the students interests and take them to the edge of their comfort zones while keeping it fun and varied in the approaches used to deliver the lesson material.
