About Tanisha Singhania

I’m Tanisha Singhania, a senior cybersecurity specialist, but my true passion has always been math. I teach because I want students to see what I see—that math isn’t complicated or scary; it’s actually simple and beautiful when approached the right way. I love breaking concepts down in a way that makes sense, showing students how math connects to the real world, and making them realize that they *can* master it. For me, teaching isn’t just about formulas—it’s about changing how students feel about math.

About the class

In my class, math is not just numbers on a page—it’s a journey of discovery. We start with real-world problems to spark curiosity, then break concepts down using intuitive methods, patterns, and visual explanations. Instead of memorizing formulas, students uncover why they work through hands-on activities, discussions, and unique problem-solving strategies. Mistakes are stepping stones, and questions are always welcome. Every student builds confidence as they see math in a new, approachable way.
