I'm Edouard, a native French online teacher, currently living in Brazil. I was born in Normandie and lived in London, UK, for 13 years, where I learned English.
I am well acquainted with all the steps that will help you master the French language as I have been learning and teaching foreign languages for over a decade!
My favorite teaching method is called "language immersion" that is proven to dramatically speed up the learning process. It means that most of the lesson is in French only, with limited use of English to explain concepts and terminologies.
However, you can ask me to switch back to English whenever you suffer from information overload :)
Thanks to this method, coupled with other immersion techniques you can implement in between lessons, it will take you only a few months to master French.
