• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I discovered my love for English long before I even started school. As a child, I would sneak into my mother's cupboard, take out her old English self-study books and cassette tapes, and spend hours listening, repeating, and practicing on my own. Even though I didn't understand everything, I was fascinated by the language and genuinely enjoyed learning it. Looking back, I realize that those childhood moments were the beginning of a lifelong passion.

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you’d like to discuss.

  I believe learning English should go beyond the textbook. While books provide a good foundation, I enjoy bringing real-life topics into my lessons. Thanks to my background in Psychology, I'm especially interested in discussing mental and physical well-being. I'm also passionate about discovering new AI tools and language-learning apps, and I love sharing them with my students to make learning more engaging and effective.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  I wouldn't say I have just one role model. Throughout the training courses and workshops I've attended, I've been inspired by many excellent teachers. From each of them, I've tried to learn one strong quality or teaching technique and gradually develop my own teaching style.

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  I believe a good tutor is patient, adaptable, and always willing to learn. Every student has different needs and learns in a different way, so a tutor should be able to recognize those individual needs and build on each student's strengths. By doing so, students gain confidence and make progress in different areas of language learning. Most importantly, a great tutor creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  My friends used to joke that I was my English teacher's favorite student. They couldn't understand why she was always so supportive of me, even if I was occasionally late or missed a class. Looking back, I think it wasn't because I was perfect—it was because she saw how passionate I was about learning English. Her encouragement gave me confidence, and it inspired me to become the kind of teacher who sees potential in every student.

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  Every student is a new challenge and, at the same time, a new learning experience for me. Even students of the same age and English level have different personalities and learning needs. Personalizing my lessons and understanding each student's character and learning style are always my top priorities.

• Do you have a particular passion?

  I'm passionate about helping my students connect English to real life instead of seeing it as just another school subject. My goal is to help them become confident, independent learners who don't have to rely on their teacher all the time and can continue learning on their own.

• What makes you a Superprof?

  I think what makes me a Superprof is my ability to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I use humor and connect lessons to everyday life. My goal is to make students feel comfortable, stay curious, and enjoy learning English—not just study it.
