I had the privilege of having Ally alongside me as my tutor for six years throughout my high school English course. As someone who struggled to put my thoughts and ideas into words, Ally consistently and effectively highlighted my strengths and weaknesses, supporting and guiding me in a way that enabled my skills to build and strengthen over time. Ally is someone who lends herself to the needs and individual qualities of each student that she teaches, as I witnessed through her tutoring my older sister, who had greatly different learning styles from mine. More than anything, Ally made learning English a joy. I’d trade the world just to go back to those lessons—to that space of inspired conversation, intellectual growth, and shared passion. She’s not just a brilliant tutor; she’s the kind of mentor who leaves a lasting imprint, one who supports her students every step of the way.

I can’t speak highly enough of Ally. She has worked with all 3 of my children, with two finishing their HSC with over 95% in English. She is currently working with my year 11 son and has bought him so much confidence and helped him enjoy the subject. Ally has a way of connecting with her students, recognising individual strengths and struggles and teaching them accordingly. Ally is incredibly patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in her student's progress. She has developed a wonderful rapport with all of my children, we feel incredibly lucky to have had her support.
