About Hyeonseo
I have been teaching myself English, Japanese, German, and Chinese (though I am a beginner in Chinese) for 6 years now.
Until now, I am astonished by how much learning languages have changed my life.
Btw, I am very sensitive to sounds, which means I can explain and bring similar (or almost identical) sounds in many different languages to make you understand Korean phonology better.
It is magical. You are not just absorbing all the grammar and vocabulary like a machine. You are expanding your own planet. You are becoming something totally different to yourself who could only speak your native language(s).
I want to share this amazing experience with as many people as possible.
I want you to feel the thrill when you are able to understand a stranger talking beside you about literally anything. I want you to feel the thrill when you order in the language you are endeavoring to learn at a restaurant and get the dish you intend to order. I want you to feel the thrill when you can google in Korean and figure out something like it is not even a big deal. I want you to feel the joy of not being afraid of talking to strangers in the language you would love to speak and learn.

My ultimate goal is to make students feel that Korean is a fun and easy language to speak. Furthermore, I want you to know how learning languages can completely change one's life.
If you are a total beginner, we can start by learning Hangeul, Korean alphabets. Once you are able to read Hangeul, we are going to explore the language with its cultural background.
I plan and make study sources my own, which could support and accelerate each student's level of study by providing individual study materials.
I listen to my students' requests, and I try my best to understand their learning purposes and goals.
We can watch K-dramas together. We can listen to k-pop songs and try to interpret the lyrics as well.
Zoom/Face to face both available. (F2F if only we live close enough to meet:) )
Let's expand our world by having fun with the Korean language!
